Appointments & Consultations

At Mr. Fox, every creation begins with a conversation. We work strictly by appointment to ensure each client receives undivided attention and a seamless, uninterrupted experience. Whether it's your first consultation or a follow-up fitting, our sessions are designed to be immersive and intentional – anchored in understanding your taste, occasion, and lifestyle.

Appointments can be scheduled via our official channels or directly through our Atelier in Defence Colony. We recommend booking at least a few days in advance, especially during peak wedding and festive seasons. Walk-ins are not encouraged, as each time slot is carefully prepared for a specific client's needs.

We also accommodate virtual consultations for our clients based outside Delhi or overseas, with equal care and attention to detail.

The Bespoke Process

The Mr. Fox bespoke process is more than tailoring – it is craftsmanship rooted in identity. From the initial consultation to the final stitch, each garment is constructed entirely from scratch to suit your individual proportions, posture, personality, and preferences.

We begin by understanding your wardrobe requirements – be it for work, celebration, or legacy. After fabric selection and style direction, we take over 25+ unique measurements, along with posture analysis and shoulder slope considerations. A personal paper pattern is then hand-cut to bring your silhouette to life.

Unlike made-to-measure services, our garments are constructed afresh from this pattern and refined over multiple fittings to achieve an exacting fit – no templates, no shortcuts.

Fittings & Timeline

Depending on the garment, the bespoke journey includes two to three fittings. The first is typically a basted fitting, where the unfinished garment is loosely stitched for foundational adjustments. This is followed by one or more refined fittings where proportions, drape, and comfort are meticulously perfected.

Our typical timeline ranges between 4 to 6 weeks, though more complex garments or seasonal workloads may extend this slightly. For weddings, large orders, or urgent deliveries, we encourage clients to initiate the process at the earliest to avoid last-minute constraints.

Each fitting is conducted in a calm, private setting with your master tailor and style consultant present – ensuring your time is used wisely, and the result speaks for itself.

Pricing & Payments

Pricing at Mr. Fox reflects the artistry, time, and individuality that goes into each creation. Since every piece is bespoke, prices vary based on the fabric selected, the complexity of the design, and the category of the garment (suit, sherwani, achkan, etc.).

A detailed quotation is provided during the first consultation, and production begins only after a 50% advance is received. The remaining balance is due at the time of final delivery. We accept most major payment methods, including UPI, bank transfer, and credit/debit cards.

Custom pricing for larger trousseaus or international orders is available on request. All prices are inclusive of consultation, pattern creation, and fittings – no hidden charges.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that plans may change. If you are unable to make it to your scheduled appointment, we kindly request at least 24 hours' notice so we can offer that slot to another client and reorganize our atelier's schedule accordingly.

Rescheduling is simple and free of charge – just drop us a message or call us directly. However, in the rare instance of repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations, we reserve the right to require a confirmation deposit for future bookings.

Once a garment has entered production, cancellations are not accepted due to the custom nature of the work.

Alterations & Adjustments

Every Mr. Fox garment undergoes rigorous fitting rounds to ensure an immaculate fit. However, should you require minor alterations after delivery, we offer a complimentary adjustment window of 30 days from the date of collection.

Alterations beyond this window, or major changes to size or structure, may incur a nominal tailoring charge depending on the complexity. We do not offer adjustments for garments altered externally or worn extensively.

Our team takes pride in preserving the integrity of every piece, so rest assured – each adjustment is handled with the same care and craftsmanship as the original build.

Returns & Refunds

Given the bespoke nature of our garments – each crafted from scratch, for a specific client, with unique measurements – we do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds once production has commenced.

However, we believe in standing behind our work. If there is any genuine concern with construction or fit that falls short of our standards, we urge clients to bring it to our attention. Our in-house tailoring team will make every effort to resolve the issue through appropriate adjustments.

Transparency and mutual respect are at the heart of our service – we ask that clients review all selections carefully at each stage of the process.

Fabric Sourcing & Customisation

Fabric is where the story begins. At Mr. Fox, we offer an extensive curated library of luxury suiting and ceremonial fabrics sourced from Italy, the UK, and across India. From fine Merino wool to handwoven silks, every option is thoughtfully presented with guidance on drape, seasonality, and formality.

Should you wish to work with a fabric of your own, we're happy to assess its suitability during the consultation. However, certain client-supplied materials may come with limitations on guarantee, especially in terms of finish and longevity.

Custom embroidery, linings, buttons, and surface embellishments are also possible – crafted either in-house or with trusted artisans we've worked with for years.

Shipping & Delivery (Domestic & International)

Once your garment is complete and has passed our final quality check, we offer both in-person pickup and secure doorstep delivery. For Delhi-NCR clients, complimentary delivery is available upon request.

For clients based outside the city – or overseas – we offer fully insured shipping through trusted partners like Bluedart, FedEx, and DHL. Delivery timelines vary by destination, and shipping charges are billed separately.

Please note: international shipments may be subject to customs duties or taxes as per the laws of the receiving country. These are the client's responsibility and are not included in the invoice amount.

Aftercare & Garment Maintenance

Bespoke garments deserve thoughtful care. We provide specific care instructions with each order – depending on the fabric and construction details. In general, dry cleaning is recommended for suits, tuxedos, and sherwanis, and storage in breathable garment bags is essential to preserve shape and colour.

Avoid wire hangers and direct sunlight exposure. For seasonal pieces, we recommend a once-a-year steam press even if unworn. For embroidered or hand-detailed pieces, please consult us for specialist cleaning recommendations.

If you ever need advice or support on garment upkeep, our atelier remains open to you long after delivery. We're here not just to tailor – but to preserve the journey you began with us.
